Born in Japan, 1974, I moved to the United States in 1997 to study art. After attending some schools, I earned my MFA degree from Claremont Graduate University, California in 2000. I had joined several juried shows and group shows including two, three person shows till around 2004. However, I started to reconsider art, myself and the relationship between them at that time. I have experienced hard time, I think. I have completed few artworks in these 3-4 years. I believe this period is more important than my academic years. Around 2008, I began to create my artwork again. Also, I started to show my painting to public again after long time silence.
